It's a normal friday morning...suddenly i miss my girls :( and after compiling their pictures, i came across this quote:

im being emotional now :( thinking what would happen in 20 years time?? will i still be able to have the present kind of relationship with both of them?

Nia and Eva, one greatest thing i've learnt so far about motherhood is while we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about. Thanks girls.This is so TRUE. Love you girls forever :)

the past few weeks have been really hectic. and due to the busy'ness', the miracle day finally came - i got my red flag on Friday 26th November 2010. Earlier as compared to Nias last time where i got my red flag after 6 months breastfeeding her> which means period came=milk stock hbs.

so on Friday i was feeling a bit confused. should i be happy? or should i be sad coz the 'bonding' session lapsed a lil bit earlier than expected. :( :( :(

during nia's time, my milk stock was moderate and the momentum was a longer. eva's time, my milk stock agak mencurah during my pantang days, so i was quite confident n happy at that time. little did i know that the stock will end up so soon. well, i blame it to my indiscipline, irregular pumping practise due to WORK DEMAND! huh, i dont know whether i should hate my job or not :p

issue susu is very subjective. we tried very hard but at the end of the day, if takde rezeki, memang takkan menjadi. pasrah je lah. sorry, eva latheefa :(

tomorrow is raya qurban, and you're turning 4 months young in 3 days time dear:)

and for the first time tomorrow, mummy and daddy are going to celebrate aidiladha without our family around, without u and your notty kakak :( i'm torn when i made the decision to 'drop' you girls, especially on a raya haji, but i guess that's a sacrifice i have to make?

bagi la chance kat mummy and daddy to spend our 'quality' times together and to catch things up since we both have been really busy these few months :( afterall, it's only going to be 2 nights without mummy (and mymilky) opps dah emotional di sini. hhmm.. ok, afterall it's only for 2 nights k dear? 2 nights out of the hundres nights ive spent sleeping with u and your kakak...(see, im trying to make myself feel better)

i hope both u and kakak will be good girls, sihat walafiat when mummy and daddy are not around. your kakak is a bit feverish currently plus a slight flu. but insyaallah, i believe both of you will be under the good hands of your grandparents :) the time may not be right to leave u girls but im hoping that i can have a holiday without feeling guilty. arrghh but i cant lie to myself that im gonna miss you two girls BIG TIME!

i love you EVA LATHEEFA and to NIA KARLYSSA, u know my love for you is unconditional. hhmm emo la pulak when i should be excited to meet your daddy nun jauh di sana....

my latest picture about 2 weeks ago.still on the wayyyyy....

as a mother of 2, i dont think any women out there would want to look like a mother of 10. (even some mother of 10 might look like an anak dara, and i salute that!) once i got pregnant with eva last year, i've been mentally prepared on the strategies that i need to execute in order for me to get back my pre-pregnancy weight. at that time rasa kalut la jgk, ye la, after 1 year plus lahirkan nia and a lot commented that i looked slimmer than before kahwin dulu, now i have to go back to square one and work hard to leperkan perut itu dan kurangkan inches di sana sini dan situ :p

waktu nia dulu, i started losing weight drastically once i stopped bf which was about 6 months after she was born. mmg badan sgt menyusut dan semua lemak/air hilang begitu saja.hehe. this actually contradicts to the popular beliefs that menyusukan anak will reduce my weight. well, it didnt happen to me.

accepting the fact that i am now a mother of 2, and believing that it will be harder to lose my weight this time (since berat i waktu lahirkan eva was 69.5 while i was only 65 when nia dulu), i tried hard and promised myself untuk berpantang betul this time.

so, during my pantang days, my weight turun jadi 59kg trus (on the 1st week after i gave birth to eva).so i have aroung 9 kgs to be 50kgs. but to me, dpt 53 kgs pun dh boleh puas hati:) so, my mission began.

first, it was the makcik urut.she massaged my perut and after a few days she managed to 'kecilkan' my perut.i thanked her for saving my eyes from continuing to witness my horrible 'after birth perut'. well, org tua2 ni kan pandai urut, so if betul cara urut tu, mmg kecik la perut.

secondly, i wore bengkung (the traditional one) religiously dari pagi sampai malam sampai pagi (only bukak time mandi) i really had to remind myself on this coz time nia dulu i was so undisciplined, pakai takat 2 jam je trus bukak coz rimas. and i wore my socks too :)

thirdly, was the set bersalin. unlike waktu nia dulu, i bought leesa formula satu set (rm300 plus) but ended not using anything except the minyak halia as pilis tu. so this time around i act smart (:P) so i just bought the things that i will use FOR SURE.so i dint buy the whole set, just bought krim halia leesa formula (to be used a s pilis) and minyak herbanika NoNa Roguy (to be used with the bengkung) and pil phytonatal Nona roguy (highly recommended for ppl yg susah nak buang air besar after birth!) i took this pil 2 biji sekali sehari. alhamdulillah eva was not affected by it and mummy was satisfied coz perut mmg lawas, every single day :) well, that's all for set bersalin. plus pil haruan (sorry saya ni penggeli untuk minum2 ni so i chose pil instead).

pantang makan.urrmm..not strictly, i ate mknan pantang biasa, nasi dlm portion yg sikit tp kerap la. but one thing for sure, i berjaya x minum ais lngsng waktu pantang! im so proud of my ability coz my close frens would know how i love munching ice cubes!! hari ke 30 je ada minum sirao bandung sbb buka kat luar :p tp bila dh biasa minum air kosong, mmg nak air kosong je, air sejuk mcm dh x best. so bagus la benda2 ni :)

i also did steam bath waktu pantang coz my parents house ada benda ni so i fully utilised it and managed to do 10 sessions dlm 1 month. pastu malas dah:p hehe. this thing pun helped jgk.
berat dkt scale machine tu nak turun 1 kg mmg la ambik masaaaaaaaa tapi slowly but surely.

yg penting, i managed to sarungkan jeans lama (tho not all) and baju kerja dah cukup bagus (save duit xyah beli working attire baru). but for long term, i invested in these 2 items:

a) herbalife. i took the f1+f3 (shake) and tea. i started on this meal replacement plan once i started back working (since 20th sept) alhamdulillah, managed to be consistent (on weekdays only coz weekend bnyk dugaan open house la, keluar makan la) and i drank at least 2l to 3l air per day!that's a big achievement to me:) minum banyk, pee pun bynk so at least toksin pun keluar :p herbalife ni mmg berjasa to me coz waktu nia dulu herbalife jgkla yg berjaya menguruskan i :) i also felt more healthy minum benda ni coz herbalife has a lot of nutricient kan:)

b) the most talked-about brand these days or should i call it "every mummy's new best friend"? - Premium Beautiful Corset or PB. i contacted hanis even before i delivered eva to but the set from her. she only managed to see me on my 2nd week of pantang and after 2 weeks of pantang, i started wearing the corset (waist nipper and long girdle)for the whole month sampai habis pantang, everyday 8 hours minimum. i didnt wear the bra yet at that moment coz bf kan kat rumah so kesannya agak lambat coz x pakai full set kan. but as ive said earlier, slowly but surely :) as soon as i started going back to the office, i wore the whole set everyday from 7am till kdg2 tu 9 pm! (depending on what time i go back home). now pb has become like a second skin to me, it's so comfortable, easy to wear (xsampai 5 min), bendable and going to the loo is not a problem at all! senang je bukak and pakai balik.i just bukak long girdle tu je, yg lain still intact:) mmg pakai pb ni badan rasa kemas, kejap dan tegap. and it doesnt look like a 'fake body' at all from the outside! lama2 pakai mmg selesa n rasa nak pakai hari2 je. mula2 pakai je rasa ketat sikit. and now i noticed my set dah longgar sikit even after pakai cangkuk yg last and tarik tali habis2an. dari segi inci mmg turun.that's for sure. alhamdulillah peha pun kecik sikit, dpt pakai most of seluar lama (tapi belum semua lg esp yg super skinny.huhu).

oh ya, one more thing,i wear my pb during office hours meaning 5 days in a week. kalau weekend tu i let my body feel 'free' kejap and in case im going out and i need to hide my bulging tummy, i use the super efficient 'penyorok tummy' =SPANX! the good thing about spanx is that it hides all the bulge in a blink of an eye! however it's not for long purpose or to reduce weight ke apa, it just acts as a penyorok tummy, in a very, very sleek way:) kalau pakai baju ketat pun mmg xnampak from luar coz spanx ni nipis mcm pantyhose tu.so this is a good solution whenever you're in a hurry!

i know, this time around semangat agak berkobar2 untuk kuruskan bdn secara cepat and i tried using all (safe) means, coz takut terleka and terlambat nanti, lemak2 tu semua menjadi daging yg degil! yer la, as a woman we need to act fast when it comes to this issue. xleh tangguh2 lagi kan.hehe, so far after 2 months plus lahirkan eva ni and lebih kurang 1 bulan amalkan herbalife + pb full set, my weight turun from 59 kg to 55 kg. 4 kgs tu are something to me. insyaallah, lagi 5 kilos in a few months kot? i know it's not easy but i will not make it as an obstacle.hehe. i give myself 3 more months to achieve my goals.

but i will be very honest here, my tummy is not as flat as those models out there coz im the type yg memang ada tummy sket walau kurus pun waktu anak dara dulu.hehe. ni kan pulak bila anak2, but insyaallah, with my 'investment' above, i hope it will be gone in a few months :) and my 'spider webs' are still there. i know, sooner or later it will be gone (mcm time nia dulu) but for the time being let me just appreciate my tummy and spider webs as a 'living proof' lahirkan a baby angel 3 months ago :)

"a mom holds her daughter's hands for a while, but she holds her heart forever...."

yesterday was a saturday, a lazy family day for me. as usual, i woke up surrounded by 2 beautiful fairies around me.one on the left and one on the right. suddenly si kakak bangun and started talking non stop- "mummy jom pegi breakfast.sama mummy, sama daddy, sama baby eva....bla bla bla." suddenly she heard my mom's voice outside. she quickly ran to the door "nak nenek".

rupa2nya her nenek was getting ready to go for a wedding. apa lagi anak dara kecik tu, terus nak ikut. she decided what baju to wear - as usual her "baju princess", what shoes to match her baju, what handbag she wanted to bring. everything she decided on her own.i didnt have to do anything but agree.

so i walked her downstairs (in my tak mandi mode) and as i sat there watching her, my mom reminded nia, "pegi salam mummy dgn daddy". so she came to me, salam n kissed me and said "mummy, bolehkah saya pergi??" (i was the one who thought her bahasa baku bm ni.hehe) and i said "boleh".jgn notty2 k." so nia tugged on her handbag and waved confidently to me, "bye mummy! mummy duduk rumah, jaga baby eva k?" and she walked away into the car.

at that moment i really felt old. mcm mak yg ditinggalkan anak pegi berjalan. and i could already imagine that exact situation in 20 years time?? but at that time she would be leaving with a guy....huhu nia karlyssa, you're just 2 years old and you're already confident leaving without mummy :( you grow up too fast sayang...luckily i still have a 'baby' :)

my 2nd gift from heaven

i've been procrastinating in updating about my 2nd bundle of joy, baby Eva Latheefa Farish. Pejam celik pejam celik, she's turning 3 months (young) by next week:) alhamdulillah, sepanjang hampir 3 bulan ni, she has been an 'easy' baby. senang sikit nak handle, xde meragam (nangis2 or kembung perut mcm Nia dulu). Now, i can say i have understand her better, i know if she cries it's either she wants milk or she's uneasy coz tak burp lagi. after burping she will lay down and sleep. hehe. wait. before i go on and on about her current 'perangai', i think i have to be retrospective and jot down on the day we both met in the real world - 19th july 2010 :)

Eva Latheefa was born exactly on the day i entered my 38th week of pregnancy. 3 days before that, which was on a friday -my last day at the office. lucky me, this time around (again) i did not have to apply for an early leave or any mc coz she arrived on a perfect day-MONDAY! hehe sama mcm Nia jugak. On that Friday, i had dinner with my family at meatworks. on the way back, i had mild contraction.and i swear at that time i thot i was already going to give birth! it was my first time encountering such a painful moment thru out my pregnancy journey! that time hubby and bapak stopped by to buy durians (at 10.30 pm, mind you) and as much as i wanted to eat the durians, all i wanted was to lay down on my bed and hold on the tiangss!!

balik rumah, tahan sakit sorng2 coz hubby had to go for his recording session. on saturday, i was scheduled for my check up(which i already had an instinct that would be my last check up). however, the pain was already gone. i was 69.5 kg at that time (haha lagi sikit je nak touch the number 7!) and went happily to see the doctor. she checked me for another reason (nak buat vaginal swab to see whether ada infection ke tak. but then she said she wanted to check skali whether ive dilated or not. masuk and godek2, the she said "awak tahu dah berapa cm?" and i was suprised when she said "4cm!". la patutla last nite perut sakit memulas2!

she told me i could deliver the baby on the same day but since my contraction dah xde at that moment and i was panicked coz i havent bought the basic items for my baby (pampers, bla bla bla..tu la take for granted lagi:p) so i told her that i wanted to go back and would only come back when i feel the pain again (later). so she said it's either today or tomorrow. or else i have to be admitted for delivery on monday (19th july).

so, i spent my weekends preparing for the arrival of si kecik. last minute, basuh baju semua and kali ni sempat la pack hospital bags (unlike nia dulu).saturday and sunday went by without me feeling any single pain. haih. lagi la berdebar...nape x sakit2 ni??

on monday morning i woke up, siap2, mkn and ambik gmbr wif nia yg baru bgn tido tu.hehe. she cried gila gila nak ikut me and hubby to the hospital!tapi mana boleh kan?so we left her and 'checked-in' to our room. did the ctg test bla bla bla and was admitted to the delivery room around 11 am. i was still 4 cm dilated at that time (static la pulak).

as usual,i required for the happydural awal2 (walaupun belum sakit lagi time tu). this time around, a male doctor came to perform the process.and this time around i could feel the big needle poking into my tulang yg sedia bengkok itu and omg he tersalah cucuk!so he cucuk for the 2nd time, mmg time ni i was already curling my toes and menyesal pulak mintak epi. however,unlike my 1st delivery, this male doctor only injected a very very mild amount of epi. so that i could (still) feel the pain and would not be confused to teran teran dan teran. hehe, i agreed on his approach coz i would like to feel the pain jugak and let the pain be an indicator for me to push.

i was then induced since i had no contraction. sakit ke tak induced ni org tanya? sakit tu dtg slowly but surely.hehe.around 12 plus my waterbag broke by itself. around 1 plus my mom came but i still didnt feel any pain. siap boleh rilek amik gambar and baca paper. hubby finished my lunch. i didnt eat but i drank a lot of air zam zam. i think this contributed A LOT to my fast and smooth delivery after that. alhamdulillah. but sebab sikit2 minum, so my bladder mmg full and the nurse had to 'kencing'kan i. hehe.the doctor said, if the bladder is full, it will be hard for the baby to find her way down. so kena kosongkan bladder. patutla baru6 cm je dilated.

dekat pukul2 pm dah start rasa sakit and i started holding to the bed rail. due to the minimum amount of epi, kaki mmg x kebas lngsng and sakit tu mmg rasa mcm nak berry. my mum went up to my room nak lunch kejap and i asked my hubby to stay with me.at 2.05 mcm tu i called the nurse mintak epi lagi coz dah tak tahan sakit. so dia tambah and said the epi will only take effect after 15 min mcm tu. lepas je tu tiba2 nurse dtg and kosongkan my bladder lagi. tiba2 je she said, dah 10 cm!can push now! everything happened in a split second. laju gila. tiba2 je i dah dikangkangkan.haha. terus rasa sakit perut memulas and automatically rasa nak push. this 2nd time i was not so panick so i applied the right breathing technique. push 3 kali, lil eva keluar at 2.30 pm. patutla senang sangat dia keluar, she was such a tiny baby! 2.5 kg only! kakak dia dulu 3.15, so she found her way out easily i supposed :) and she's a bit petite, 48cm je compared to her kakak yg 50cm dulu.

and she immediately cried sekuat hati as soon as she came out to see the world (unlike nia, again). and due to my motherly instinct, i shed some tears when i saw her.hehehe. ok, u wanna know what my hubby's first word was when he saw eva? "MAK, PUTIH MAK"! haha lawak betul, ala-ala bangga when he told my mum thru the phone! more on the 'putih' story later or should i say "the mocha and vanilla sisters" :p and after that the stitching process was quite painful coz the epi havent take effect yet.yikes. but alhamdulillah sikit je stitches tu. when i was finally on my bed in my room ptg tu baru la epi took effect and kebas seluruh badan. serius rugi amik epi. but one thing yg bagusnya if i compare dgn nia dulu, this time i wasnt confused and i know when to push so the energy was not wasted. so takdela sampai hilang nafas mcm dulu. syukur alhamdulillah sgt to Allah for giving me an easy delivery process :)

so, here she is "Putih" haha, a reason for me to lose weight (again) :p

counting days....

today, im officially 37 weeks pregnant. so many special events happened in july. first, it was my hubby's birthday on the 12th of july, and today -13th of july marked our 3rd year as a married couple. of course i would loovvveeee to celebrate and suprise him for these special events but at this particular phase, i just can't do anthing special. it's not an excuse but i wanna do something special but i just cant execute it, so sorry sayang, might have to wait a little, k?

im counting days...and through out my beautiful 9 months journey, i can count how many times i got an m.c from the doctor- 2 times.2 times only??that's amazing as compared to the time when i was with nia. alhamdulillah, no serious complications. but the major things that i can remember through out this 2nd pregnancy are the times when i got anemia/kurang darah in march when i was about 4 months plus preggy. i had to take iron supplement to increase my blood level and alhamdulillah, 2 weeks ago, my blood level became normal again:)

i also had piles/buasir during my 3rd trimester, about 3 weeks ago and as usual, it became so painful and irritating and i bleed for about 1 week plus (even when im not doing my 'business') and i had to take medication. apart from that, i think my pregnancy went well until i entered my 30th week. braxton hicks contraction, perut tegang sakit tak boleh tidur, kelengkang sakittttttt sgt, couldnt turn myself around, sleepless nights, stretch marks started to mark their own territories and definitely no more high heels at all. well, i couldnt even fit into my baju kurung and had to buy last minute maternity clothes to go to work :(

last friday i couldnt sleep at all and i was experiencing this mestrual kind of cramp and sakit pinggang and i was nervous!!it was like a dejavu when i was about to deliver nia 2years ago.i took an mc and when the doctor checked, she said the baby was already 2/3rd engaged!patutla sakitttt sgt...alhamdulillah she has found her way out. but i keep telling her not to come out at least until next week coz i really freaked out sebab tak habis beli brg baby lagi!!! (okay, i might take this thing for granted this time :() so, during the weekends, me, barney and shugiga did a one day shopping for the lil baby.one go. alhamdulillah.ready.cuma bag je tak pack lagi...mood blum sampai :p my appointment with my gynae will be on this coming saturday and i have a feeling it's gonna be thelast one.hhmm.. my baby was 2.3 kgs about 2 weeks ago and me?? takpayah tanya, tapi mmg dah 66.7 kg!!!aarrgghh.

well, at this particular moment all i want is to deliver the baby safely and i keep on thinking about her, alhamdulillah, my love for her has grownnnnn :) now i understand, the feeling will come naturally, eventually.tak payah takut nak divide your love to your children :) and to be able to but a pair of sneakers for barney for his birthday and belanja him a simple dinner was already a celebration to me :) insyaallah, next year ya sayang? at least the three of us got to spend quality time together at our love nest for 4 days in a row, just the three of us :)

insyallah, our latest addition to our family will be in july, so, tahun depan there will be 3 special events in a month :)

it's been a lonnnggg time since i last wrote on my pregnancy journey...and now sedar tak sedar i have about 7 weeks before i reach the full term :)

well, insyaallah, nia karlyssa will get a new playmate in about 3 months time:) boleh pakai heels sama2, bongkar makeup bag mummy sama2, joget dangdut sama2 and main all her 'anak' sama2 :) alhamdulillah, yg penting sihat dan sempurna.

it was funny when i remembered my hubby's facial expression when we went for the detailed scan with the sonographer yesterday! when the doctor said 'xx' i was quite confused and asked her whether it's a he or she. and when she said "ni anak no. berapa?" i said "second child". she asked back, "the first one is?" "girl", i said. "hah, ada kawan la dia lepas ni:)"

i couldnt stop smiling and wanted to laugh because honestly, i dont mind whether it's a girl or boy coz i already got a girl as my first one.but, to see the 'frustration' on barney's face was kelakar coz he tried to coverline! tak puas hati, he asked the doctor to confirm again. so the doctor ckp, "setakat ni mmg girl la, see, no birdie, and see that line tu..tak puas hati meh i poke baby jap biar dia tunjuk luas lagi!" hehe.

barney pun trus kata, "oh saya tak pernah fikir lelaki ke perempuan..asalkan sihat" so i replied "ye lah tu!!" sambil senyum2:)

u know what barney said? "mcm ni doktor, tak rehat lagi la wife saya next year!" haha saje je nak buat i geram eh??

what really made my day yesterday was the fact everything went well and syukur scan semua lengkap n look sempurna :) i could never be more thankful, asalkan SIHAT. the cutest thing was, her lips and eyes look so much like nia karlyssa but the nose tak pasti lagi..and the skin and the hair :p hehe the baby weighs 700 plus gram ONLY and the rest went to her mummy!!

hhmm...nia karlyssa, be prepared for the arrival of your 'rival'!hehe.i cant wait to pair both of u up in baju2 girls yg best!! daddy, sila jgn jealous ye??

so we've entered the 15th day of the month -APRIL- the month where my miracle was 'awarded' to me about 2 years ago :) as our lil family is busy planning for her 2nd bday party, here it comes again, my biggest enemy (in fact,it's every mom's biggest enemy) the evil COUGH. it started 2 nights ago, out of no where.exactly about a month ago, mr. cough attacked nia but that was due to the cold wheather in u.k. Around 2 months ago, mr.cough also visited lil nia, but that was due to nia's notty habit while swimming in the pool -minum air pool curi2-

and as her mom,i have this instinct and was 'waiting' nervously to 'hear' mr.cough knocking on the door.well, true enough, it just happened while she was sleeping at night - complete with the 'phlegm package'!! i was worried sick. and maybe due to my -imbalancehormonnestate- i just broke into tears, couldn't accept why it has to come for a regular visit for 3 months in a row!!so i 'instructed' mr.barney to bring her to her paed coz for the past 2 months we just took the medicines (without seeing the doctor due to time constraint).i felt quite guilty at the same time coz we also have another appointment with her paed at p.m.c that was due last march.tapi tak pegi2 jugak.. :(

as nervous as waiting for exam result,i called my hubby just now and asked him what the doctor said.the doctor suspected maybe she has asthma but both of us do not have it.so her phlegm dh banyak n she had to pakai the neubalizer (again)!apa lagi mengamuk la makcik garang tu! the only thing we could suspect is her latest habit, suka sgt masuk semua jari n tgn dlm mulut!!i thought it only happened when she was a baby!since she's nearly 2, dah pandai la jugak melawan bila org kata no tu kan.so there's nothing much we could do from stopping her from menjilat2 tangan dan jari yg memang tak bersih setiap masa tu....huhhhhhuuuuuuuuu

so, here it goes again,the 'usual' routine of makan ubat..penat betul bagi budak 2tahun yg tak suka mkn ubat ni.mencabar.

dear nia,mummy always pray for your good health, more than anything else in this world. now, this is the part where i feel it is 'mentally torturing' in becoming a mummy to small children -u know which part nia?the part when i get worried like there's no tomorrow everytime u got sick. for all my worries for you, sangat2 la beyond words, and this is one of the things that u cannot pay back even with rm1 mil. same like the day when u were born 2 years ago...

luvnote: to 'redeem' my guilty feeling, mummy has made an appointment with both az-zahrah and p.m.c paed on your 2nd birthday itself! so let's spend the whole 28th april for your medical check up k sayang :)

last night when i was asleep on our bed at the love nest, somebody woke me up.

"mummyy.....bangun...."so i opened my eyes and looked at the clock, it was 4.30 am..."mummyy...nak suussuuu.." so i got up from my bed and told her nicely, "nia dodok jap okk??mummy turun buat suuusuu k??" it was one of the rare occasion where she would just agree (instead of wanting to follow me along) so she said "okkk..." lega dalam hati mummy tak payah dukung nia turun mlm2 dgn mata terpisat2...

so while i was making her milk, i heard her voice sayup2 "mummyy...mummy.." i quickly naik atas and she was just ok, lying on the bed. she drank her milk, half way thru mata hampir tertutup so i felt lega once more coz i was so sleepy at that time. when she finished her milk, i took the bottle from her withour saying anything (usually i each time she finished minum susu i would say "alhamdulill..." and she would sambung "..lahhh..". when i thought she already closed her eyes, i heard her saying "alhamdulillah..." and so i smiled...baru mata ni nak tutup balik, she said "mummy, nak baca doa"..ish..pelik pulak nia ni. so i recited surah al-fatihah and we both menadah tangan (sambil i mata gam). just when i thought nak tido lagi, she said "mummy, nak salam mummy..." i know i easily got pissed off if my sleep diganggu but this time around, aduhh..sayunya hati ni...u know?

then she continued..."nak cerita pasal london dengan mummy..." we always have this kind of conversation especially before she goes to sleep, we recap events that already happened in her life and i always let her tell her own "version" of stories..good enough, this story telling session memang kuatkan memory dia bout past events...but not at somewhere around 5 in the morning!hehe..so we crita2 for a while n the notty mummy pretended to sleep. but lil nia continued by saying..."nia taknak tidoo..." "nak mummy dokong..." so i asked her where she wanna go? she said she wanted to join her daddy watch tv outside..so i said" nia duduuk dgn daddy, mummy sleep k?mummy nak work esok..mummy ngantok.."

"tak nak..nak mummy duduk sebelah nia,ok??" hhmm... "ok"..so i carried her in front of the tv, she sat on the couch and watched tv while i had to sleep next to her...sitting position.phew..and then i continued my journey to lala land at 5 am...zzzz....nia, sometimes u can act so sweet n so goodie goodie at night, kan?how i wish u're not so garang during day time..hehe

we are back !

hey lil nia karlyssa! remember this? this pic was taken in october 2007, when u were about 2months 'young' in mummy's tummy:) we 'brought' you there so that you could 'feel the freshness' of london's air with the hope to come back again in the future!hehe..we didnt have a clue whether you were a boy or a girl at this point of time, so daddy bought loottsss of boy's clothes for you!!mummy geram je tgk baju girls waktu ni :(

but now, as in tonight, alhamdulillah murah rezeki, we are able to bring you there again!this time you can be there 'physically' sayang! oh ya, it's spring (tho the weather is so like winterr... ) so be prepared for all the pretty dresses!this time mummy will balas dendam!hehe...and again, this time, mummy is going to bring along your lil bro/sis in my tummy:) what a dejavu kan? and again, since we r still not sure of the gender, daddy will have the 'kuasa veto' to buy all the 'tengkorak' rompers just like he did last time :( huhu...

anyway, really hope and pray this journey will be safe and smooth for all of us, coz this is your first experience sitting on the airplane for 13 hours!! this is totally different from bandung and hong kong ya darling?? hopefully you tak poo poo in the plane and plsss behave and jgn boring nak jalan2 dlm plane or demand nak dengar lagu daddy or tgk barney or elmo je!! coz i wont be bringing those cds along!!huhu

my one and only (lil)brother got married finally...in february:) the nikah ceremony was held at malacca on the 5th feb 2010 and the groom's reception was held at our parents place in bandar baru bangi on the 14th feb 2010. the night before, (13th feb) we had a small 'bollywood theme' reception, just a simple makan2, and joget sakan :) it was fun tho..congrats bujel for your 'sekali lafaz'!now i have a new sis in law:) *wink wink*

the first time the bump looked quite 'obvious' :p

im about 16 weeks or 4 months right now. already entered my 2nd trimester and alhamdulillah, 2nd trimester has always been the best moment out of the 3! haha. i took a rest from writing simply because i couldnt give my full attention to it. everytime i go to my own blog, i feel automatically blank and the thought of pressing my fingers on the keypad just turned me off. haha.so i wandered around, bloghopping...but the mood was just not there..therefore the silence.

about a week after my last entry, my all-day-sickness came...this time around it's everywhere, everytime and so irritating.i just feel the need to vomit-to let it all out of my body...lidah tu tak payah cakap, pahit all the time....i keep on spitting and spitting into the plastic bag dlm my office room ni.appetite? nothing but SUSHI KING. i need to have it at least once a week la.but i didnt eat the raw one,just yg goreng2 tu...sedapnya rasa kalau dpt sushi...syukur tak terhingga! but alhamdulillah, despite of the nausea, malas, muntah, pening and all; mr.flu, mr.cough, or mr.piles tak dtg menjenguk during the first trimester, unlike when i was with nia. back then i had to take a lot of medications and it makes me worried.i felt that the "rasa loya mulut pahit" kali ni lebih mencabar sampai my boss pun tegur kata i didnt gain weight!haha. but finally in the middle of january, the vomitting stopped (but as a closure, i vomitted 4 times in a row selang sejam waktu tgh tido!!that was horror ok!!)then that was it. alhamdulillah. stakat ni m.c pun skali je,unlike waktu nia dulu, slalu mc coz mcm2 penyakit dtg...sekarang ni penyakit 'malas' je yg slalu dtg :p

now that ive entered my 2 nd trimester, tak dapat sushi king pun takpa, coz appetite dtg balik, dgn banyaknya!!huhu...the little bump started to appear around end of january.i can still wear my normal office attire coz they are stretchable but of course la kain kurung tu semuanya unzipped! will need to find new office attire soon...and as of today, kulit semakin kering, and mr.flu dtg mengacau...i dont take any medication coz malas so lagi la irritating..well, on my last checkup 29th jan hari tu, i saw my little angel, already formed into human being with legs and hands and bones!quite suprised coz sometimes i tend to forget i have a human being inside here coz tak rasa lagi dia tendang kan...the baby was kind of meniarap/swimming position and was actively moving his/her hands and legs as if he/she was jumping!!haha totally different from nia karlyssa when she was 11 weeks in my tummy! but the sad thing was, i gained 2 kgs between my 2nd last check up and my last check up!! see, told cha nafsu makan semakin mengganas :p

alhamdulillah, nia knows she's getting an adik but there's another story bout it.nanti la. it's just that im really glad and syukur that my pregnancy survived to the 2nd trimester. lil bun in the oven, see you this 27th ya? muah!

p/s: my lil bun has a 'twin' which is my auntie's lil bun in the oven too!my busu is also 16weeks preggy and our edd is almost on the same date!!how exciting can that be??hehe

she has a total of 7 pacifiers a.k.a puting at one time. how good/bad is that for a girl who is turning 2 years old in 2 months time?? actually i have a lot of other pictures with nia and her puting but they are still in my digi cam. see, that's the problem, it became an irritating habit. first it started with "nak tido only hisap puting"...then the gian'ness' grew bigger and bigger and puting became her number one best friend.inseparable. every single second she will keep on thinking bout it, and ask for her "teng'ghe" (that's how she called it). end up, she hisap her puting out of no reason or necessity.saja2 sedap nak melekat. sampai nak take pictures pun she refused to take it out! tu yg mummy geram tu....

my parents keep on telling me, it's better for me to put a stop to her habit. nanti gigi rosak la, tak lawa la sebab dah besar and etc....and they keep on telling me that all 3 of us (me n my siblings) stopped hisap puting by the age of 1. how my father did it? he burnt our puting until they became black and mengerekot and menggelikan.haha.it sounds so easy peasy but i keep on procrastinating. lagipun mr.barney asyik cakap, "takpe...i dulu hisap puting sampai darjah 2..." well that is a DIFFERENT story, itu mmg geram la kan??i will never let my children hisap puting sampai masuk sekolah!haha.barney siap ckp dia selalu gantung sampai 3,4 or 5 puting sekaligus at one time!!sumpah geram!! :p

so, finally the magical day arrived. around 3 weeks ago, on a saturday, 30th January 2010, my father tiba2 took one of nia's fav puting, a pink one and asked me to carry her.so we went to the dapur gas, my father lite the fire and we created a story to nia who was terrified looking at her puting kena bakar!!she didn't cry or scream, she was trying to understand the situation but at the same time geli and takut tgk puting kena bakar dgn api. but my father was a bit frustrated coz the puting refused to turn black!haha.dia kata puting dulu2 senang je tukar jadi hitam..so i replied back "ye la puting skrg kualiti, silicone lebih pastu mahal pulak tu!! of course la kalau kena bakar pun still warna putih!hehe".

later that night, nia kept on asking for her "teng'ghe" but i tried to remind her of the 'bakar dengan api' punya story.but of course la, first time kan, hati i pun cair tgk she kept on crying so i bagi dia hisap yg lain, dlm 5 minutes je then dia sendiri bagi blk.on sunday, we went out and i brought 2 putings along- one yg terbakar tu, lagi satu yg elok punya. in the car, she tried to sleep and as usual she needs puting in order to go to sleep. sebab kesian, i kata ok, tapi kejap je.she used it for about less than 5 minutes, fell asleep, then that's it. the toughest part came later at night during bed time.suddenly she mengamuk, meraung, ran to the stairs and called for the maids...she knew the putings were kept downstairs and merayuuuuu for it...haih..mummy pun failed, kesian n tak sanggup tgk dia nangis, so i gave in and alhamdulillah after a few minutes, dia sendiri keluarkan from her mouth and fell asleep.a good start after 2 days, i shall say.

little did i know, that night was the last drama i have to face coz i couldnt believe it, my nia is one strong girl who could be 'redha and pasrah' (haha) in letting go of her 'best friend'. the next day onwards, everytime she asked for it, all i did was asked her back, "puting nia jadi apa?" and she will continue the story herselves "atok bakar...dengan api...jadi panas...phuh phuh phuh (konon2 tiup la)"...then she will say "taknak puting". and now, mummy is proud to say you have survived for 3 weeks without your puting and i respect you for your determination and understanding, dear:) thank you so much for not making it a hard time for both mummy and daddy. see barney, siapa kata susah nak stop anak kita from hisap puting?? :p now senang, keluar pun tak payah bawak puting or fikir pasal hygiene reasons.... congratulations nia karlyssa! muah!!

what's with the title? hmmmm i know i was right when ive been feeling all these symptoms for the past 4 weeks;

-craving for food,food and food
-dizzy, pusing2
-nausea, rasa pahit dekat lidah
-tired,sleepy
-extra 'bloated'
- and of course, red flag tak dtg!

alhamdulillah, im currently pregnant for the third time, entering my 8th week:)

i knew i was preggy on the day of aidiladha.did the test and it was positive. felt happy and ready mentally and emotionally this time. i had a miscarriage in july and my gynae advised me to 'rest' for 3 months. immediately after the 3 months ended, i got pregnant again. with the blessing that i got (subur/senang lekat org kata) still ada dugaan yang tuhan nak bagi.

i have to say im quite traumatized this time, coz i dont wanna lose my baby again.so i decided to keep it low until the day i can see the heartbeat. i went for my first checkup when i was 4 weeks 6 days pregnant. there was a sac but it was still early to see the heart beat. i was given 'duphaston' -ubat kuat rahim once a day. so, the doctor set me another date to see the heart beat, which was on the 19th dec when the baby was supposed to be around 7 weeks plus. by that time, there's supposed to be a heart beat -well that's what my gynae said.

so i went home feeling nervous, waiting for that date.i can tell you, i had sleepless nights, dreaming of the lil thing...im scared and was really hoping it would stay and grow in my womb. finally, the scariest moment came. it was on the 12th December, a week before i was supposed to see the heart beat. fyi, my nia was having a bad fever around that time, with flu and coughs. i had to handle her, crying in the middle of the night, vomitting and wanted to be 'dukung' all the time. so during maghrib, i went to the toilet and there it was, fresh blood spots on my panty liner. i cried and went panicked right there and then. my gynae was not available during weekends so i went to my family clinic to do a scan right away. the sac was still there looking al round and beautiful, the growth and measurement was right but there was no heart beat to be seen. only god knows how worried i was. the doctor advised me to have a bed rest, tak boleh dukung nia langsung and to monitor the bleeding. since the 'thing' is still there,i should take a good care of it,but i can never be too sure selagi tak nampak heart beat.Ya Allah, macam kena tindan dgn batu je perasaan nak tunggu nampak heart beat. rasa mcm nak beli machine scan and scan hari2 kat rumah. that was how i felt.

so, i was given mc for 2 days and to have enough rest. the next few days the vaginal discharge tu mcm brownish (darah lama). until tgh malam isnin, pinkish stain ada when i went to the toilet. i didnt dukung nia at all and she was passed to everybody else in that house BUT ME:( tapi,since budak demam, i still have to handle her and she's quite lasak, no wonder keluar lagi blood stain. i became fragile and literally couldnt do all the remeh temeh things yang before this in my eyes was no problem at all. turun tangga pun tak boleh..baring je la...

on tuesday i went to see my gynae coz the stail still came out.when she scanned my tummy, there was a big round sac but still, NO HEART BEAT. and i was already 7 weeks.scared as hell, she quickly did the vaginal ultrasound and as soon as the 'stick' was inserted into my v, masya Allah, there was a heart beat!!laju and normal and mcm nia dulu:)))) actually, the position of the baby terperosok and tersorok ke tepi that's why it was hard to see through tummy scan (mind you, our tummy skin tebal, dengan lemak lagi ) so vaginal ultrasound is the best way to see without any sempadan, it went direct to your womb and alhamdulillah my baby is still there and doing fine:) rase nak nagis sgt2 time tu.

at last all my prayers and questions have been answered. i was confused and my mind was so messed up and stressed up wanting to know is the baby still there or not coz the bleeding still continues. alhamdulillah it is still here, in my womb, growing and growing:)

my gynae told me the bleeding must be due to the thinning of my uterus during the process of conceiving..so nothing to be worried as long as there is a heart beat, darah tak fresh and mengalir mcm period.so a lot of rest need to be taken, no angkat berat (esp nia) at least until the end of my 1st trimester and my duphaston need to be taken twice daily. there will be another follow up check up next week to see the development of the baby. and oh, the spotting stopped completely after 5 days. my feeling?still scared and need to be extra carefullll.....sorry nia, it's not that mummy tak syg you ke apa,but mummy xboleh dukung nia, kalau tak sampai bila la nia takde adik :( sacrifice k sayang?

insyaallah...hope to see the baby in 7 months time:)

haha.this was funny.it appeared live on air, on a sunday morning,on father's day (somewhere in june). my nia even pooped a loottttt few minutes before her call time and mummy yg gelabah cari toilet kat ntv7 tu to clean her and make sure she looks good on tv:)

the topic was about the relationship between a father and his child.mainly nia main2 dgn straw and got distracted, susah sangat nak pandang camera!!but thank god she was on her best behaviour and didnt cry at all tho she could see her mummy watching her behind the mirror!

ok nia,this entry is some sort of a reminder to you,maybe you still x mengerti waktu ni,but the host,he is MR. OS, a legend (at least to mummy and the gang!!haha our inside joke) i dont know whether you would feel proud or malu to tell your frens when you're big enough nanti on your first experience appearing on tv:p hahahahahah

the pictures above were taken in may, during our trip to hong kong when nia was about 13 months. that was the first time i saw nia 'feeding' her two bears, so i quickly grabbed the camera to capture the moment! we (me n hubby) both found it super duper cute to see her sharing her meal and milk with her bears,in her own will!tanpa paksaan, tanpa suruhan:)

ever since that day, she will not forget to include her bears if they were around her and at the same time she's having her milk or meal. my nia has developed her 'kakak-kakak' character, showing that she actually cares for another (in)human beings. hahah.

little did i know that at that point of time (may) i actually just conceived, no wonder why nia acted that way:) now, i guess nia is ready (for an adik). just wait and see k nia?for the time being, bermanja2lah anda dengan patung2 anda :)

to all working mummys out there, im sure your mind will be 'interrupted' once i a while at the office, thinking of what your child(ren) is doing at home right?pity us, we cant be 24/7 around our kids to make sure they are safe n sound.unless in very rare cases where they will install the cctv at home to and can view 'live' telecast from their pc at the office. still, we can never know the EXACT situation.most of us rely on our maids, pengasuh or our own mummys:) just to share with all of you,as in my case, this is the normal-frequentlyaskedquestions to my maid.i mean, the exact same questions,wajib ada every day (dah mcm hafal dialog plak:p)

ok,the text above is a real dialogue every single day i call my maid from the office.sometimes dalam sehari boleh 2 kali tanya benda yg sama.haha ,just need a sense of security. semenjak nia dh pandai borak ni, slalu gak suruh diorng pass the phone to her, hilang rindu:)

my first birthday treat, just the 2 of us. we both felt sooo like 5 years back on that particular nite :p

my second treat by my besties at kokopelli. recommended foods :) and ambiance too :) then they treated me with Cuci The Musical !

later that night, i was treated by my parents for a fine dining at ibunda. very privacy and nice foods too :) thank god my barney finally turned up (he had a show at mifa opening that nite) so the postponed bday dinner was complete!! a nice closure i must say:)

this is me, on my 2nd day at the hospital. i lost about 1000grams and i think i can wear skinny jeans now.haah.

i "decided" to fall sick a day before mummy's 26th birthday.pity her :(

i finally got admitted on 2nd nov, my nenek's bday (see,i choose my date well!!) after 5 days of continuous diarrhea and vomitting....

this pic was taken on the first day i got sick (29th oct)..i was too tired of all the sickness and lack of sleep...thank God it was not rotavirus, just a stubborn kind of virus that only went away after 7 days residing in my chubby body :(

this cute red nyonya kebaya was bought for u by nenek and u wore it for our raya photoshoot :)

this was on the 5th day of raya, during our first trip to ipoh, daddy's kampung :)

oohh, the kain batik (as opposed to the 'belah tepi' red kebaya) is a 'duyung' style.haha.so i remembered,u were walking slowly, all prim and proper :)

this one was also given to u from opah.as u can see, u lovee kurung, maybe becoz it's less tight and u can walk freelyyyyyy:)

oh, look how cute and moody u were on the first day of raya! mummy has exactly the same pair kurung pahang (except mine has lotsaa beads on it!!) mummy bought the material and sent it to the tailor.u looked so 'rendang' in it (mcm pokok rendang!) haha. as far as i can remember, the hairband only lasted for not more than an hour!!!huhu

so darling nia, u passed with flying colours for this year's raya in wearing all your kurungs successfully without leaving any of them behind! let's see what's gonna happen next year?? muach to u munchkin!!

somehow i pity my lil nia.hehe she's already 1 year 6 months but her hair is still so shortie. but lately i can already make a smallie tiny pony tail. well, that's a big achievement already!!haha dont they sell hair extensions for toddlers??hehe

my hubby and i have this issue on styling nia. i, obviously, love to style her according to my sense of style = feminine+funky+stylo+comel+sweet and the list goes on...

my hubby on the other hand, love styling her according to his style = sneakers and lottsss of sneakers!!u name it, how many pairs of adidas and nikes does she have at this particular age??geram i coz end up nia pakai kadang2 aje n last2 dah tak muat!!dah la mahal, so the daddy always blame the mummy on this!!hehe, i always tell him, tunggu u dapat shugagi (a s0n) la, dia boleh pakai semua kasut ni..

so, my hubby likes to dress nia with sneakers + dress especially when im not there to monitor!!but, i think if the sneakers are paired together with the dresses, they look cute tho!like barney said, i want her to dress like lily allen!haha

what's the relevance of the pictures above?well on that particular day, it was the 3rd day of raya and nia became a 'victim' of fashion to his father!she was wearing a kurung to mahkota parade and hubby thought, "let's buy her something she'll be more comfortable to walk with". so he picked up a BASEBALL player punya suit!!and lil nia ran with her diapers to the girl rack and she picked up a girlie suit!!see, nia has a fashion sense after all, and she obviously knows she's a girl!!hahaha..but since daddy was paying, nia pun pakai baju baseball tu...

sorry nia, mummy is busy and so malas in updating this blog..but i dont wanna miss blogging bout my lil princess in her kurungs during raya :) well...just so that you remember, these pictures were taken during 2nd day of raya, syawal 2009 when u were about 1 year 5 months..u enjoyed wearing the blue/yellow kurung with lotsa beadings (tho the kain was a bit meleret) which mummy bought for only rm50 at qassa s.parade :) i remembered my heart screamed with excitement when i saw this kurung hanging cutely on the rack:) and u were at nek andak's house in malacca. this year,u learnt the meaning of 'kuih raya'. u are a bit choosy and you have your own favourite kuih raya:) look at you, just look at you, how 'makcik-makcik' were you?? choosing ur own balang and running away with them! so tamak eh? well, nia, pls remember, ur first fav kuih raya that u chose by urself is MARUKU or also known as 'kuuuu' (as pronounced by you:)

on the 9th day of syawal or 28th September 2009, my nia turned 1 year 5 months old :)

this time around, she celebrated her hari raya wholeheartedly! she wore 5 baju kurung/kebayas, for 5 days in a row! and im proud to say she was comfortably happy in her sarongs and heels! no complaints at all! lil diva in the making :p

she also knows the meaning of 'salam' when we asked her to do it, she appreciates the 'angpaus' and successfully became a makcik yg menyebok nak pilih kuih mana yg sedap :p huhu..she even broke a cookie jar at one of our relative's house!menjerit la mummy dia !hehe

one thing yg geram, my 12 kilos nia doesnt like to wear her hairband anymore:( membazir je beli, she only wore it for about an hour then terus bukak! as compared to last year when all she could do was to lie down, cute je dgn hairbandnye :)

the pictures above were taken about 3 weeks ago,when i was 6 weeks pregnant. the photo shoot was supposed to be an intimate one, between me and nia.and we dressed according to what ive been dreaming off all these while, white dresses :)

i was quite surprised when i found out i was pregnant, this time around i didnt cry like my first experience. in fact i was blank and felt a bit unready. but as soon as i found out on the 23rd june, i told my hubby n family and all of us accepted the news happily :) this time i didnt feel like announcing the news to everyone a.s.a.p, except to the closed ones. i felt unsure and all i wanted was to have a look at my fetus by going for a scan.

the next day i went for a scan at my gynae and i was about 4 weeks ++ preggy. the doctor couldnt trace the sack,it was unclear but i was positively pregnant.so she asked me to come again in 2 weeks time. when i was 7 weeks preggy, nia was admitted to the hospital coz she had food poisoning.i took 5 days to take extra good care of her until she fully recovered. so i didnt have the chance to see my gynae...

i just went to a g.p and did a scan.so there it was, the little sack but it took quite some time for us to see it clearly. i felt a bit different coz during nia's time,we could already see her heart blinking by 7 weeks. but the doctor told me it was still early so come in 2 more weeks time to see the heart beat.i took the scan picture and put it in my bag.from that day on, i started to feel love towards the little thing in my stomach :)

the feeling was different this time coz ive been loving nia with all my heart for 14 months and when someone new is expected,i felt confused, whether i can divide my love, care and attention equally??will i still have time for my lil shoba after this? my mom told me that it's a normal feeling for every mother.eventually, you will love all your children without any biasness.so i accept it and try to learn to be a mother of 2!

i went for my conference on the 21st-24th july and as soon as i came back, i was already 9 weeks preggy..no bad feeling at all, just vomitted once, a bit of nausea and everything else was good.until saturday evening i felt fatigue and lenguh2 badan...but i ignore it.ye lah,dgn layan budak 15 months yg tgh buas lagi kan...on sunday night,i started bleeding.was worried and i went for a scan straight away. the news that i got was not good at all and i waited to see my gynae the next day.

on monday, 27th july, i was still bleeding and my gynae confirmed to us that my fetus was so small and did not develop.in fact it's development was like a 6 weeks old fetus when it's supposed to be 9 weeks old.no heart beat, no little fingers or whatsoever.the sack was empty and the bleeding happened coz it's a natural way/sign of miscarriage. we have to face the fact that the fetus was defective and it's better to lose it now than later.

so i had a d & c on the same day.i was given a sleeping jab and as soon as i opened my eyes,lil nia was hugging me on the hospital bed.and we buried the unborn fetus in front of our house.

i believe there must be a reason behind this.Allah yg menentukan segalanya, mungkin ada rezeki di masa hadapan, insyaallah nia akan dapat adik lagi ya:) alhamdulillah,i am strong enough and i thank my family for giving me full support.

to hubby,i know how frustrated you are,i know u want a baby from hong kong right?sorry dear, ive been taking good care of it for 9 weeks and ive been eating all the supplements and milk religiously.but Allah has a better plan fo us, insyaallah.

"ee, gangster la dia ni.dah besar sure jadi pembuli.sure buli semua org kat sekolah"; or

"evil, evil, evil, evil" (i lost count brapa kali dia sebut evil)

okay,there is an issue here.everyone,i mean literally, everyone would feel offended and angry if it happens to their child.who won't?especially when it came out from someone whom u r not close with and all this while u've been sick with that someone's laser mouth.especially when those untolerable words were spoken to an innocent child who doesnt even understand 'life' and who is still in the phase where she wants to explore and learn more about herself. what was that person thinking when those words came out from his/her mouth?? what did my child do to that person that made the stupid person uttered those words??

thank god my lil nia didnt understand what that person was saying and thank god, she didnt even bother to go to that person or even looked at that person.nia must have felt that person's bad aura. i was really really angry and pissed off till i became speechless.im so sorry nia for not being able to defend u as my child.as a mother i should have done that.but all i know, u are one smart girl who behaves and mummy is proud of your development. u were doing your own 'gugu gaga cute things' when that 'stranger' tried to interfere and gave stupid negative comments.yup.that person was stupid. that person doesnt even know you or your developments.an adult who loves to give negative synical comments,laser,disrespectful and arrogant. mummy is not suprise coz all this while ive tried to tolerate with it. but when that person crossed the boundary and did this to my baby child, i juz cant accept it anymore.

to that person.u have not reached my level yet.so dont talk much about handling a toddler.it's way different than handling an infant.u can only learn from experience. there's no hard and fast rules when it comes to handling a toddler yang dalam fasa nak explore things and be creative. there's no theoritical methods, parental instincts will tell you what to do. after all, my daughter is not buas or uncontrollable.go ask my close frens. it's just you that have an issue with your mouth.please be extra sensitive to other people's feeling, especially if u ckp dpn mak budak tu. apa lah dosa seorang budak kecil yg masih belum kenal dunia sampai u rasa u layak nak cakap anak org evil?who are you by the way? what if someone says the same thing to your own flesh and blood?

well, i believe in karma.

p/s:on another note, last nite we went for nia's chicken pox's jab.the paed told us that nia doesnt look and doesnt act like a 1 year 1 month child. she's like a 1 year 6 months physically and mentally!haha.the paed told us that at her age, being able to speak 4 clear words are good enough.but when she heard nia talking to her (as in talk, not baby talk)she was impressed.by the way, nia can already speak about 10 words! well sayang,only 'intelligent' people like the paed deserves to tell you who you are:) dont listen to some stupid lalat like the one ive mentioned above.

mummy, im a walking girl!!

im a toddler now mummy,n i love window shopping! :P

during mother's day a year ago, i was still on my confinement period.i can still remember clearly on that day, no celebration,i just sat at home and received some sms'es from close frens.however my 2 weeks old nia was not well and her nose mcm kena blocked.so later in the evening, me n barney took nia to see her paed. we came to the clinic for other reason but we got an unexpected news from the doctor instead. i still remember,i cried non stop in front of the doctor as soon as we heard the news.lil nia didnt understand anything at all,and she cried too.when she cried, i cried too. she was still fragile and too small and i just couldnt accept the fact.i was clueless and my mind was blank.alhamdulillah, hubby and my family gave me support n strength for me to accept the news and go thru my confinement period positively.all we knew, kami harus jaga nia karlyssa sebaik mungkin. that was how i celebrated mother's day last year and i will always remember it.

a year later, alhamdulillah, syukur pada Tuhan, now Nia has fully recovered and is one healthy girl.sometimes her capability lebih jauh dari umur dia, and she makes us proud:) dont ask me why and what coz it will always be a family secret.yang penting, that experience thought me a lot when i was just a 2 weeks old mummy.i became strong for the sake of my child,that's why i love her too much and nobody will understand it. only those who have their own child understand these feelings, we love our child so much regardless of how other people thought of our child, kan??

a mum's unconditional love

mother's day tahun ni mummy celebrate dengan mama n mak skali at our new house.we went for breakfast, lunch n tea sama-sama. then,mummy belanja mak n mama tudung ariani.mummy pun tunggu la, mana hadiah dari nia ni??hehe..nia gave mummy one set of mug n biscuit tray that says i love u mummy or something like that.hehe thanks syg,i luv it to bits (tp mummy tau daddy yg belikan).heheh..

hmm..what should i get for mummy??

i had fun celebrating a simple but full of love mother's day with my loved ones.i even did extra housechores on that day to show hubby this is what he n nia will get from a happy mummy:)hehe. to nia, mummy is so sorry for being extra garang everytime u are extra notty. kalau mummy pukul tapak tangan nia tu, maksudnya mummy taknak nia pegang benda-benda kotor mcm batu, sampah dan mcm2 lg k? kalau mummy jerit bila nia mengamuk taknak pakai pampers, itu sebab mummy nak nia well dressed before u can go n play, k? other than that i think u behave well enough dear :) mummy understands, this is the phase where u want to be adventurous n it's a good sign dear, at least it shows that otak anak mummy ni kreatif berfikir and active, taklah pasif je kan?

on another note, nia dah pandai appreciate baby n suka sebut "bebeh" :) hehe.she also knows how to kiss the baby.i hope u can be a loving n good kakak k??sekarang ni kalau jalan dkt mall or playground or naik turun tangga,mmg nia prefers to walk, so mummy pun terbongkok2 pimpin tgn nia to ensure nia jalan elok2...and i hope in 30 years time we can still hold hands together sambil jalan coz mummy pun maybe tak larat sgt:) love u sayang.

we moved in officially on the 24th of april 2009 sempena birthday nia karlyssa. however, tak sampai sebulan, yesterday 18th may 2009 monday 3 pm (we didnt sleep at our house for 2 nights) as my hubby stepped inside the house; this was the condition.

we lost 2 of our lcd tvs, satu letak hall bawah, satu hall atas.the culprit took the remote controls and the bedsheets plus blanket (to cover the tvs).our computers and a laptop are safe. tak sampai sebulan pakai tv tu...n i pity my hubby,he worked hard for the tvs and now, when we are on a tight budget coz semua dah habis untuk move in, the culprit senang2 je masuk n took our belongings, hasil titik peluh kami.

alhamdulillah none of us were at home at that time.this is a gated area which only has one entrance.n still, this is happening.well, to the culprit(s), semoga Allah balas kembali perbuatan anda yang hanya tahu nak bersenang lenang atas kesusahan orang lain. Insya allah doa orang yg teraniaya akan dimakbulkan.and to those who show their concerns,thanks so much for being sincere:) yg anggap benda ni nothing,u will only know how i feel if u were in my shoes.

what would u do if your child does this to other kids?

phew.this is one of the toughest challenge i have to face at this moment.being the only child in the family, nia has no other friends of the same age and she is only exposed to the 'adults'. thus, she gets a lil bit too much excited everytime she sees another kid.maybe she was thinking, "oh, dalam dunia ni ada budak kecik lain rupanya..".hehe

when she was a baby and harmless and didnt know how to walk around, i didnt expect that i would be facing this phase.sebelum ni geram je tgk budak lain pukul budak lain.last2 jadi kat anak sendiri:p the thing is,this is what u have to expect when raising up a toddler. this is the way she explores another 'tiny creature'. coz everytime when she's with us, "the adult", she will be experimenting by poking our eyes,nose and tampar2 pipi.so, bila jumpa budak lain je,she'll do the same thing.

the girl in the above pic is 2 years old, and nia managed to make her cry! 2 days ago when we went to o.u, nia approached a 5months old baby girl and she ter'buat' the same thing,nangis la baby tu! so, here comes the part where the mummy would have to scream n be garang!!haha. bukannya niat dia jahat nak pukul budak ke apa, but she's still learning and maybe she tought what she was doing was something ok.innocently doing it.

the funny thing is, nia is very2 friendly, there was this one time where she approached a 4 years old girl and touched that girl, but dat girl tolak dia, xnak kawan wif her.nia jatuh terduduk, tapi tak nangis, n terus pegi lagi kat dat girl, xserik2 nak kwn jgk:) hehe, mummy dia pulak yg geram dgn budak tu, tolak my nia sampai jatuh :p

my daughter ni kuat orgnya.hmmh..so now is the phase where i have to mould her, nasihat and warning untuk 1st n 2nd time, the 3rd time mmg kena marah la jgk.after that will come the sesi bermaafan.yer la, i feel bad jgk marah budak 1tahun ni kan, so i nak terapkan jgk nilai2 "sorry" tu...so nia, nanti dah besar jgn ego nak minta maaf dgn mummy k?coz dlm 1 tahun ni je dah sejuta kali mummy minta maaf dgn nia.. :)

u've developed from a tiny little creature to a brilliant lil toddler in this one year, and every single day is a new experience for you and me

u are now able to walk on your own and you know your destination but dear, be prepared for more years to come, coz one year is not enough to master the world :)

thank you for making mummy a better person, for letting me experience and learn how to teach u in order to make u a better person.

nia wif her stylo aunts

due to her 1 year bday party this coming sunday, a few things came up, as ive expected! my little nia got diarrhoea on wednesday after eating 'sup urat ketin' on tuesday night. tu la...i couldnt control the foods that she consumes coz it seems like everybody is giving her new foods to 'try and test'. nia apa lagi, suka la!

due to that, she 'berry berry' 4 times on wednesday and 5 times on thursday.this morning pun masih sama condition.kesian...her pipi gebu turned out to be reddish- allergic reaction to that food!huh lepas ni no more sup urat ketin k?coz last time she had no problem pun makan shark fin soup...so her paed gave a cream to be applied on her face n mummy will make sure pipi u suci murni by sunday k?? i even took an e.l on wednesday coz my maid called n said nia muntah banyk.takut sgt,mana tau food poisoning ke kan?nasib baik bukan...so i spent the whole evening with her at our new 'love nest'.hehe

alhamdulillah, syukur, the house is almost 100% completed and mmg dah boleh duduk.last night langsir dah sampai and at this stage, everything dah lengkap for us to actually live there. mmg moving in ni pening n penat sgt.penat otak nak fikir n penat badan berkemas.tambah2 lagi for a couple like us who have to buy semuanya brand new coz before this we lived with the parents kan.so mmg sehelai sepinggang masuk.alhamdulillah im satisfied tho a lot has to be sacrificed (i.e: my passion for shopping!!huhu :( ) tonight nak buat baca2 doa n sembahyang before pindah rumah so that by tonight we can start sleeping there :)

nia's bday theme color is barney purple.not a big deal, but just to make it merrier:) preparation ala kadar je, ye la, baru masuk rumah baru kan.so sorry sayang, tak boleh buat extravaganza sgt, mummy hanya mampu upah aunti najwa jadi clown free :P insyallah next year k? menu for that nite will be nasi ayam penyet/ikan keli with sambal prepared by my hubby:) hehe we'll see.

i love u nia.and u looked so cute for these past 3 days where u would squat down, muka blur, rupa2nya tgh berry!hehe.boleh potty training la pas ni ye?muah!

during my brother's merisik ceremony last weekend.makcik kecik yg dah boleh jalan :)

its april, finally:)

this is the month where i received the greatest gift from Allah,a year ago:)

well, lots of things have happened since my last post.i think i will elaborate on my lil princess in the last part :) most of my weeks last march were spent doing induction and btn at nilai. the whole process were tiring both mentally and physically.but the memories were very precious and i learnt a lot about my beloved country MALAYSIA.so now,i appreciate my country more:) hehe.for the first time since nia was born, we both got separated for 5days 4nights!! bayangkanlah betapa beratnya siksaan menanggung rindu :( huhu hari2 mms je muka nia.but one thing about her, dia jenis kalau depan mata mmg clingy habis but once out of her sight, dia bukan kesah pun :(

habis btn, i started back my normal routine.what else?go back to work and continue uruskan hal-hal rumah baru.i can tell you, moving into a new house is not as easy as ABC.mind torturing, planning the budget, dealing with the contractors and banyak lagi la..so memang this month my focus bnyk towards my new 'love nest'.hehe:) insyaallah, we plan to celebrate nia's 1st bday at our new love nest:) hopefully langsir semua dah settle by that time.

last week, me n barney were invited as the guest for a programme called 'sehati sejiwa' at rtm1. nia wal also featured in that programme!it was a 1 hour live show and basically it's a show about married couple, and we were interviewed about our married life; pre marriage and post marriage :) most of the callers who called commented on my new image and congratuled me.tapi ada satu caller tu dia ucap tahniah to barney "kerana telah berjaya mengubah isteri!" haha.memang tak tahan nak gelak la coz actually, penghijrahan i was not forced by anyone including my hubby.

i received a lot of comments, ramai terkejut and tak sangka it was 'that fast'.yah, i dont have to tell the whole world before it happens kan?but once it happens, i knew i have to get ready to receive 'stares adn comments'. bila masuk office, ramai ingat i new officer,haha and ramai la jgk yang toleh dua tigaa kali!but alhamdulillah, i received good comments on my new look. so, takde lah rasa malu or segan.insyaallah, if niat baik, semua berjalan lancar and suprisingly after more than a month wearing tudung, i takda rasa rimas, panas or pening sebab tak biasa kan.

however, i will always remember these 2 incidents/comments:

1. i was walking with barney in ikea.just the two of us and it was our first date after i wore tudung. as we walk, holding hands, i can tell you, the malays, they were staring and ni jenis pandang siap toleh yang tak cover and siap siku2 kawan diorng konon nak bagi signal "eh tgk dia.pegang tgn dgn perempuan lain!". haha their faces were so like geram macam syak my hubby jln dgn org lain!one thing that i can conclude; typical malays..suka gossip, suka jump into conclusion.takpelah sayang, as long as we know the truth..

2.a friend of mine in another division told me that ada sorang p.a to her boss said this to my friend: "puan, puan punya kawan tu dah berubah ya. bagus.saya suka tgk dia dgn imej baru dia. sebelum ni saya TAK berapa SUKA tgk dia". so what can i conclude from this? cepatnya perception berubah, terus suka sedangkan she didnt even know me. just because i pakai tudung.well i dont like this kind of mentality,i know, before this pun bila free hair mmg sesetengah org tak suka n anggap kita ni social sgt, gedik just because we wear short skirts to office!kesian my frens yg tak pakai tudung lagi..apa agaknya p.a tu anggap kat diorng? my clost frens know that tho my image has changed, im still the same old tini,ok :) this is again one typical mentality of the malays: siapa pakai tudung baik, siapa tak , jahat. hhmm..go and do ur own research k?

oh ya, one more funny incident yg i akan ingat was during my induction programme.i was wearing a suit on that day and suddenly a male magistrate came and approached me; "excuse me, can i get ur name pls?to me u look really, really professional! seriously, u look professional! are you from the court too?" haha, my friend kat sebelah i terus geram "so i ni apa?tak professional la, i pun pakai suit!just becoz im free hair so i guess i must have look like a bimbo right??" haha funny sgt waktu tu. and ended up that person who commented on me 'tersuka' i and started texting me coz he thought im still single!terkejut dia bila tau im a mother of one! :)

back to my intention to 'move' in the first place; it all happened from within.i knew i wanted to wear tudung but i didnt know when was the right time to do it.but i knew the time has come when my feeling jadi berkobar2 sampai termimpi2 and the urge came.so finally i decided that 9th march was the right day.hubby was quite suprised when i first told him about this.at first dia tak percaya tapi bila tgk stock tudung i yang bertambah from one day to another, he knew i was serious..satu je dia pesan, and i will always remeber it "u nak pakai tudung boleh, tapi ingat, once dah pakai, jgn bukak lagi ya".insyaallah sayang, i will stick to my decision :)

so, as for nia karlyssa, she still recognizes her mummy and tetap kenal. tapi kdg2 geram jgk coz dia suka tarik my tudung! on her development, she's turning 1 year old in exactly 2 weeks time! cepat je anak mummy dah besar!and alhamdulillah she can now walk steadily!jauh and lama without any help! i was so happy to see her walk like an anak beruang + penguin!! she also understands the 'meaning' of bird and kipas and mamam (makan). suka tong sampah (sgt geram), suka pukul muka mummy and everytime i scolded her for this, she will cebik and nangis sedih sampai menitis air mata! sumpah comel so i pun marah dia banyk kali nk ulang tayang!haha.gigi dah nak masuk 4 batang and she's a fierce biter a.k.a anak serigala!

my baby is still in her 10++ kilos and 72 cm.she likes to eat and taste new foods.and she is really bijak.im proud of u dear!

Dear Nia, look at both of us back then, somewhere about a year ago....this was the first time we met yet we didnt feel like strangers to each other at all!

and there i was, a week before u were born, still confused how u would look like, whether u're gonna be like mummy or more to daddy??

owh, remember our first outing session to alamanda when mummy was still in confinement period?yeah,we used to share 'things' that we dont do anymore now :(

and look at you on your very first day!!u looked so puffy and different!!

well..young girl...a year nearly passed by...and things have changed...just look at you now...

u can stand on ur own!

u wear the same shoes like ur daddy have!

u are so tall n u didnt even change ur clothes b4 u went to sleep (until mummy did 4 u)

And now...mummy has changed too...a big change, i shall say....

but that's life dear, we grow up and no matter how much i love you and miss feeding u wif my milk, i know one day u will marry your man, have your own family, and feed ur own baby wif ur own milk, just like mummy did to you...:)
ouch.that imagination hurts. but i wanna grow old looking at you living happily and be successful.

well, nia dear...im so thankful for the changes..both for u and me..we both are going thru the phases of life (tho ours may be different) and i hope things will go smoothly for us :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIL NIA!

she turned 10 months old last saturday. ever since her arrival into this world, ive seen so many developments in her; mind, body and soul.hehe. every development is so exciting yet full of suprises :) lets's see what her capabilities are at the moment:

dah tumbuh satu batang gigi dkt bhgn bawah.so cute!semakin geli and sakitla pipi ni everytime nia gigit mummy dia!alhamdulillah, no signs of fever at the moment..
besides waving her hands, she developed a new skill- some sort of flying kiss tapi tgn dia terbalik sikit la dari yg kita buat "mmmmuuuah,mmmuuahhh"!

i noticed that my daughter likes ayam and birds so much!she can totally ignore everybody else if the chickens are in front of her.we also use this as a trick to distract her attention -so that she can makan ubat or eat her porridge.

her very first clear words that we think she could understand the meaning at the same time is -BIRD.hehe..everytime we ask her, mana bird? she will point her tiny finger at the bird and says "berrr". cutie.

she can also pronounce dedeehhh(daddy) nananana(no,no,no) but sadly not mummy.mamamama ada la...

apart of her super fast crawling activities, she could stand steadily on her two feets sambil pegang benda or clap her hands. :) cant wait for her to find the courage to step!

she will automatically clap her hands everytime we sing "pok amai amai, belalang kupu-kupu" she did this even when she's angry or crying!kelakar ok!

she hates sitting in her cot,will automatically fake her cry (very drama queen) and mintak dukung.she prefers crawling freely sambil menyepahkan bilik and almari baju...

dah start makan makanan adults.she loves half boiled eggs! kdg2 geram jgk bila semua yg kita makan dia nak try,mana boleh ok??!

susah sgt nak duduk lama2 dalam stroller.have to trick her.

she doesnt watch tv at all.no cartoons whatsoever.not that i didnt allow her,cuma i like to sit in my room n she will sit there too.so no tv.

makin notty, makin garang!no no no!

now, i feel much relaxed and i treat her like a friend.she's so determined, she will try to get the things she wants,no matter what, she will try hard.and she's quite independant, she can play alone in our room while her mummy spend her own sweet time playing dressed-up :p thanks sayang, i love you and i will always pray for ur safety n good health. muah!

p/s:cant wait to organize ur 1 year birthday bash!

babies month

our trip to cameron highland that was scheduled on the 7th and 8th february was cancelled due to mummy's and daddy's sickness.daddy got high fever n mummy got her untolerable piles. i was on mc for the whole week.couldnt walk nor sit.the last time i had this worst nightmare was in 2007-when i was in my first trimester..

i must admit i was very very frustrated coz this trip was supposed to be our very first mini family trip.just the 3 of us..tapi :( and now we still cant find a perfect dat coz barney is very2 busy on weekends...hhmm mimpi la lagi.. so,on the 7th tu, sebab geram sgt tak dpt pg cameron, me n barney brought shugiga to taman burung in kl :) at least we brought her out and thank god,nia enjoyed her mini trip so so much!we were very happy to see her smile and through out the walk she didnt even merengek mintak dukung!she sat in her stroller and bising sorang2 tgk burung.i guess my daughter enjoys nature so much unlike her parents, we both got exhausted eventho baru separuh taman tu kita jalan, so we decided to go back! tak berhenti minum pun coz mengah.hehe.ye lah 2-2 sakit..

well, a good friend of mine, far is getting married to lan kismis in 3 days time!syukur and i wish both of you happiness :) cant wait for her wedding day! i'll be taking leave on that day :) hehe

for the past 1 week (14thfeb-22nd feb) 4 of my friends delivered their babies safely:) congratulations to 3 baby boys (k.dana, yen/ida and meq/ajee) and a baby girl (kak ira). it's amazing that 4 of them could be 'making' babies at the same time back then!haha. well, meq is one of my chickies, a small sister to me and i felt quite sentimental looking at her lying on the bed as a mother :) we knew each other since we were so small n now u have a big responsibility dear!cant wait for dikya's turn (it would be funny kan?) her baby farel is huge 4.1 kg and so adorable at the same time!at the moment he looks more like meq, but babies' faces do change kan!hehe.cant wait to visit him again! but i have high respect for her coz knowing meq (hehe) im proud she gave birth naturally when her baby's head is so big comparing to her pelvics!!congrats dear!

on another note; ahmad zulkamal, my senior in uitm and a colleague of mine in agc passed away on saturday 21stfeb09. al-fatihah. it was a shock as i just bumped into him for 2 days in a row before saturday and now he's gone. tho i am not close to him, i learnt one thing for sure; appreciate your loved ones no matter where they are.u might see them today,but no more tomorrow....

back to nia, she got her 2nd pneumococal injection on the 11th feb. and now she's 10.4 kg!haha only 1 kilo naik after 2 months...ye lah, baby pun aktif merangkak and berdiri sana sini..so no more baby demok i guess??alhamdulillah, since new year nia tak kena demam lagi.batuk2 sikit2 tu ade la tapi cepat recover.i guess the vaccine works :)

my darling is turning 10 months old/young in 4 days time! will update on her development later!

B**BS issue

i have an issue with my b**bs.

before i got married, i always complained about how small it was.i want a bigger one.haha

as soon as nia was born, my B became obvious and of course bigger.i had to change all my work shirt to a size L. L??!!haha just because of my B.pakai la baju longgar bawah tapi ketat atas ke tempat kerja.i started thinking, bigger B is not as satisfying as it sounds! my body is just not proportionate anymore! banyak baju tak muat dibutang and i became paranoid!!

as soon as i stopped breastfeeding nia at the age of 6 months, i got my first red flag on my brithday (after 1 year and 2 months of hassle free monthly routine!!) and for every month, i will get the red flag on the exact date as my first one.so my mom said im SUBUR jadi kena la berhati2 ya :)

months after months,as my body shrinks, my B shrinks too.and i really mean SHRINK.i have to change back to my pre-natal bras and im thankful actually that it has come back to its normal size.HOWEVER, my issue here is, it's not only small in size but i think it has no 'fillings', isi takde, mcm karipap tak berintikan kentang.haha.i consulted my mom and she said it's normal that after breastfeeding dh habis, our B will become lemah dan tak bermaya..huhu sedih kan??i asked her, whether we need to apply any creams yg berlambak2 available di pasaran tu untuk mengembalikan kesegarannya?and she answered "ala, lama2 dia normal balik la,tgk mak ni, keras je kan??" hahaha. geram but true enough.so ,tunggu je la ye,and exercise sikit tgn tu my mom ckp.

so to any of you who have experinced this and dah guna any miracle cream, share lah ye :)

family planning

family planning has been a 'trend' lately. for newlyweds, most of them opt to use many methods of family planning for various different reasons. well, it's up to them right? as for me n hubby, we never planned for children after we got married.alhamdulillah, after 2 months of marriage, i was pregnant for 5 weeks :)

after nia was born, i was introduced to various methods of family planning by my gynae. before my confinement ended, i met my gynae and we discussed about family planning while hubby sat outside with little nia who was just 1 month plus. she explained to me about 4 types of family planning which i can choose, namely:

1. contraceptive pill
2. injection
3. iud
4. implan

if im not mistaken, the result of all 4methods is we wont get our monthly red flag. i asked the doctor, "takda jerawat keluar ke?kulit cantik ke?perut tak bloated ke?" coz in my mind, if darah tak keluar, sure badan kita penuh dgn darah kotor kan?haha.actually, the effect of all these is to stop our menstrual system so mmg our telur2 tu takkan dikeluarkan pun in the first place.so there's no such thing as telur tu tak disenyawakan lalu menjadi darah kotor....:)

if i choose the pill, meaning i will get the chance of forgetting to consume it due to time factor,lupa or undiscipline. bcoz we need to eat the pill every single day without fail.or else we will get the chance of being subur okayy..so option no.1 i tak minat.

the second choice is injection or suntikan hormon progestin in any parts of my otot lengan, punggung or paha. this injection will release a hormone called progestin that will stop our ovulation process in the uterus. this injection will only last about 10-13 weeks. meaning, we have to 'renew' the injection at the end of every 3 months. hmm.i dont like this,just like renewing my driving license where i tend to forget especially when it's last minute so last2 jadi malas.sgt tak praktikal especially if we are busy and need to set an appointment date yg kdg2 tak boleh ditepati.

iud is a small thing made of plastic which contain progestin hormone too.basically the function is the same, once it is inserted in our vagina, it will 'thicken' our servics and sort of jadi penyumbat la untuk halang the sperms from entering the uterus lalu persenyawaan telur pun tak menjadi:(
huhu...hhmm..ni pun i kureng sikit,of course, imagining something being inserted in our vagina for a few years!!oh noooo...

the last option explained to me by my gynae is implan or implanon. its a small plastic rod yg sgt la nipis dan pendek which is inserted under our skin at the arm part.the effect is also the same as method number 3.hormon yg sama juga akan dirembeskan.hehe.these method is quite popular nowadays, even the doctor has been using it for a few years.and to her, not getting her period is so besstt!! (mmg best pun coz tak leceh and takyah beli pad kan??) these implanon will last for 3 years and if within the 3 years, say 2 years tibe2 we change our mind and nak anak balik,we can just take it out.usually after few months buka,regular period akan dtg balik..and implanon will make our skin become softer n supple!hehe.best2.the only negative part is, since our hormone dah lari, so nafsu makan mungkin naik n if tak berhati2, boleh naik berat badan la :( but implanon only costs rm500 at my gynae's place and i think it's worth the 3 years period.
so, option no 4 sgt2 la menarik hati saya yg tak sabar2 nak bagitau n bincang dgn suami :):):)

so i set another appointment date wif the doctor for implanon and walked out of her room happily.as i opened my mouth about "kaedah merancang", my husband's face changed.he has his own reasons la..firstly, tak elok rancang2, nanti tuhan tak bagi betul2 after 3 years tu macamana? secondly,he's already 35 this year so he doesnt want to send his child to std 1 when he's already 50 :p thirdly, im still young, so at this age i should do my part as a wife which is to produce babies so that by the age of 30 i can rest and maintain my body :0)

ok ok sayang,who am i to object u, right?after lots of arguments pun i think ur reasons tu masuk akal after i have done deep,considerate thinking.well,it all depends on the husband and wife to reach and settle on an agreement.so,no 2nd visit to the gynae as scheduled,and now we are just practising the natural method..insyaallah,when nia reaches 2 years old,she may get a new companion :) kesian kan kalau sorang2 takda kwn...then maybe i will start thinking about these methods again.apa pun kita hanya mampu merancang je kan??

btw,im just sharing these infos for our future guidelines as every couple has different goals to achieve in their lifes.the choice is in our hand,whether to have 1,2,3, or even 10 children.the only problem is the time factor,sanggupkah anda melalui segala proses mengandung dan bersalin sedangkan rahim dan badan and belum cukup rehat lagi??whatever it is, family planning is good to improve and maintain our family's financial, educational and economical status. the choice is yours, and i have chose mine :)

it has been a long time since the last time i blogged about the man of my life.since nia was born, everything is about nia.nia.nia.kesian barney :( hehe. in 8 days time, we will reach our 4 years and 10 months anniversary. how fast time flies. i can still remember the first time i saw him and his group performing at mmu 5 years back.

how i hate looking at his snobbish face tho i couldnt see his 'gatal' eyes behind his dark shades. the reason i went for his show was not because of him but because of another member whom i used to have a crush on:p haha. i didnt even bother to look at him what more shake his hands.my eyes were all glued to another jambu guy.hehe.

a few days later, a friend of mine (who happened to be his friend too) called me. and i thought i could recognize his voice asking me to come over to modestos for their album launch. but it was more of asking a favour from me to jadi gadis bidan terjun. i agreed to come over, not because of barney but i was too excited to meet the jambu guy again!ahah. so there i was, in the middle of afternoon, walking unconfidently into modestos. and there he was, on the stage preparing for soundcheck.salam salam semua org including jambu guy and i was briefed by barney on what to do on stage as 'cik tipah yang tertipu'. he was so over-friendly that day and i was quite uncomfortable but im glad, at least he made me felt 'welcomed'. so we had lunch before the launch.i can still remember; a very long table +lots of guys (jambu guys) whom i was starstruck with due to their ability in singing good rNb songs+ spaghetti +pizzas and the list goes on....and i was kinda lost n controlling myself.i ate the pizzas with fork n spoon when i usually eat them with my bare hands. and i was sooo lost in the middle of the 'entertaiment people in their entertainment business'.

big barney showed interest in me starting from the lunch table.he kept on introducing me to other people as his 'fiance'.i felt stupid+bullied+irritated+geli and didnt know how to react. imagine, he just met me for a few hours and i was already his fiance??so, the show started after lunch.i was nervous, couldnt imagine myself 'crying' in front of all the reporters.but there he was, trying to comfort me...(i was like "ee..cube schweett la konon). so i managed to do it.watch them performed and as soon as everything was over, i was about to leave but the boys were busy being interviewed.so i just asked my friend to say thanks on my behalf to them. as i was about to enter my car, big barney waved to me, asking me to wait for him to finish his interview. but i didnt care less (hehe jual mahal sket) coz i wanted to avoid the traffic jam.

as i was driving and nearly reached subang, my hp rang. "hello boleh saya cakap dengan tipah?" me:"tipah?siapa ni?" (i felt annoyed coz i got the hint already but was still unsure) "tipah la.u tipah kan?" eee...geram sgtttt.takder tactic lain ke?? "ni cat la...." hehe...all i could think at that time was to just play around with him..layan je coz i menyampah sgt...and starting from that very first call, the rest became history:) dari benci jadi sayang. i never thought i could end up marrying him and have a beautiful lil nia as a result of our love. i dont want to elaborate more on our courtship period, but they were full of memories and beautiful experiences.being wif him has built my self confidence.i met a lot of people, and these people are from a very different world where i was taught to brush up my communication skills, and i learnt a lot. looking back, i am so so so thankful i met him and didnt end up with my sodeeplycrushheartbreaking ex-bf. due to our 9 years age gap, big barney made me a better person/woman.

dear big barney, u completed my journey of life.because of you, i became a wife and because of you,i am now a mother.but deep inside my heart, i would always want to be your stylish,outgoing,sporting girlfriend you loved to have during our courtship period:) because those were the reasons you fell in love with me back then...so no matter how many shugagis or shugigas we produced, i will try my best to maintain as 'your grilfriend' k? love u, n many more years of blissful marriage to come, insyaallah.

*happy new year 2009!!*

i didnt manage to write a 'closure' entry for 2008. however, to sum up 2008- one word BLESS-
the things i achieved this year:-

1. being a mother. created my own family tree (but not completed yet) the experience of giving labor n going thru the post natal period couldnt be described. u should experience it yourselves n u will understand :)

2. finally a permanent officer. a shift from prosecution to drafting. no more outstation=more time for nia :)

3. my hubby (and i secara kecik.hehe) bought our own house for our little family (and future kids insyallah). alhamdulillah.

PLANS for 2009

1. a very very GOOD financial planning to furnish our bare house which will be on vacant possession in a short while.phew.susah ni..... so kereta barney will stay.no kereta baru for a few years.takpe, saya bersyukur :p

2. take up nia's insurance n open her saving account n put all her monies in it.

3. maintain dgn bdn skrg (as long as i can fit into my old clothes, everything seems wonderful to me :)

4. insyallah, plan for nia's play mate.tungguuuuuu.

5. be a better wife n mother (this one is very very important)

6. become a good n better officer.

*happy 8 months bday lil shugiga!!*

as usual, when her birthday is coming near, she will get her fever :( dgn batuk2 n flu but thank god, sbb dah biasa, we brought her to the clinic as soon as the fever was detected. alhamdulillah by now dia dh ok..n she's a whooping 10 kgs now!hehe.

i made use of the long holidays by spending time with nia and dating with big barney. we went out to pavillion, alamanda and a friend's wedding and i guess it's a big treat to nia since this girl mmg suka berjalan :)

btw, nia crawled secara betul2 on her birthday!!congrats darling im so proud of u!ye lah, selama ni dia dok tunjuk tanda2 nak berjalan je..dok berdiri sendiri, bangun pegang railing cot n kerusi, jalan guna walker tapi tak merangkak.last2 secara naturalnye dia merangkak :)and now she can even bangun dari berbaring pastu terus duduk.comel! dia pun dah start panjat2 her cot, naughtynya!! btw, lately ni semakin menjadi2 dia menangis everytime lepas mandi, taknak pakai baju!!nangis mcm kena dera!sabar je la....nia xleh sabar, nak bangun, xsuka baring :(

n we bought her first doll :) kelakar sgt coz hubby xkasi beli doll yg mata boleh buka tutup tu, dia takut!!so beli doll yg mata lukis je :p hehe.we also bought 2 pairs of shoes for her coz sedar2 je kasut2 dia dah tak muat...hehe.i also bought a diaper cloth for her, nak try dulu nia selesa ke tak, if everything goes well, we can save a lot of $$$.

*the first time she fell*

it was about a month and a half ago. joled was carrying her after her swimming session. bapak went upstairs first without realizing he left his splashywateryfootsteps. while holed was carrying her carefully n i was in front of them...then OPPPSSS.it happened in a blink of an eye, in front of me but i didnt do anything.too shocked actually. alhamdulillah, her head was supported by joled's arms. but shugiga crieddddddddddddddddd as if someone just spanked her!she was shocked actually, n i had to soothe her.

babies falling down from any high places are a big nightmare to parents. moreover, she's crawling n moving so fast right now so i have to be extra careful.she's still sleeping wif us on the bed n her cot is only used as her playground.i used to put a time limit, at least when she's 6 months i'll let her sleep in her cot but i still couldnt change that routine... so about 2 weeks ago, i was lying on my bed in the evening trying to put nia to sleep.but instead, her mummy ni yg ngantok...dalam mamai2 tak sedar, syukur, tuhan bukakkan my eyes at the right moment n there she was, crawling at the end of our bed...NIAAAAAAA!! i quickly grabbed her. alhamdulillah.terus fobia nak terlena.so now, selagi nia tak tido, i cannot sleep, ok?

me n shugiga really miss the man of our life -BIG BARNEY. pls come home. we have so much ample space on the bed tho u know me n shugiga hate to squeeze in everytime u join us on our la-la land :p 4 days to go....

on the other hand, i received a lot n i mean a LOT of comments lately saying that i look slimmer, dah berjaya kuruskan badan, bla bla bla.it's a compliment, thank you (finally after 7 months) but it makes me wonder, "did i look THAT flabby back then??" hehe.tu lah seksanya n brape lamanya nak kurus balik if tak pantang betul2 waktu confinement period dulu.malas pakai bengkung, malas pakai stokin, minum air banyak...hehe.so, one lesson learnt.if shugiga happens to get her adik 'one fine day', i know what to do.considering the fact that im a lazy bum when it comes to exercise n diet, i am very very grateful that finally things become normal again (or at least).

on my little munchkin yg sangat la nakal sekarang, these are her new activities right now:

1)finally, i cooked her meal last sunday after procrastinating.malas so bagi dia makan nestum je selama ni.i cooked the bubur + carrot + bayam + isi ikan =blend sampai hancur = SEDAP sgt!! no need to add garam coz it's not good for the baby.nia loves it very much (so does her mummy) n im proud to see her gaining back her weight n eat deliciously :) lepas ni nak try campur brocolli and kentang a bit.

2)nakal ya ampun.up to today, shugiga tak boleh merangkak.she lifted her butt but that's it, she's not moving forward, but upwards!!meaning, nia ni nampak tanda2 nak skip merangkak, dia nak terus jalan.mmg obvious sgt, she likes to stand n jump jump jump like there's no tomorrow.then she will laugh out loud everytime kita "tatih'kan dia.so, bravo lil girl, go n walk k?

3)it's very dangerous to put her in her cot nowadays, coz she will stand up n try to 'jump'.haha. letak atas katil lagi la, kalau unattended-a big no no.she is very determined, she will try to get the thing that she wants, since she cant crawl, she'll mengesot.n very laju okay!

4)dah mulut bising dah..nyanyi2 n bercakap..her first word (if it can be considered as a word)- "babah...." then "mamahh'' bile la dia nak reti sebut mummy kan?

5)suka tarik rambut ayu.kalau geram suka pukul2 guna tgn.comel sgt.

hmm..okay lah.kesian nia, lama tak swim semenjak sakit. u have to be grounded for a few more weeks kay sayang?i luv u to bits.i feel as if u r my best fren skrg, u accompany me when i came back from work in our room..when i was having my bath, when we had our talking session on the bed till we both fell asleep....huhu thank God you are around.when i was pregnant back then, i always hope that one day u will be my companion everytime daddy is not around.thanks lil barney:) n to BIG barney, balik cepat k :)

The Price I Have To Pay As A Mother

phew.sebulan lebih dah tak update.n i got calls from few of my frens asking me to update on my lil shugiga.yerla..that's the main purpose of creating this blog pun..a lot has happened n my lil daughter has achieved new skills now that she's turning 8 months.

i didnt update on our bandung trip, however to sum it all it was an awesome trip for all of us especially nia who behaved really well, considering it was her first trip at the age of 6 months old:) i guess the pictures ive posted earlier dah menceritakan semuanya... however, before we went to bandung, nia demam sikit so a day before our flight, i brought her to the clinic n she took her medication to bandung.alhamdulillah nothing happened at bandung n she continued being active. balik malaysia, we went to pahang for buduk's wedding on the 9th november. as usual, nia ok jer n happy dapat jalan2 lagi :) balik je k.l, once we stepped out of the car, her body temperature naik sgt2 n jadi panas till i became panicked.so we brought her to the clinic.the next day i had to take e.l coz nak jaga dia. by afternoon badan dia panas lagi so we brought her to az-zahrah. for the first time, she looked ill n slept n mengeluh in her sleep :( sampai az-zahrah, doctor tak masuk lagi n her temperature was 39'C. the nurse suruh masuk bilik wad sementara to sponge her.on the wat to the room, she vomitted.all her milks keluar.again, i felt like crying.di nampak lemah n kesejukan.we sponged her to lower down her temperature n masukkan ubat kat punggung, tu pun turun jadi 38'C je.

after 3-4 days, by the end of the week nia recovered from her fever n i was relieved :)after about 3 weeks, my barney kena demam n batuk2 right after impak maksima the musical finished.i understand, it must be because of the stress n surroundings he had to face during the theatre.tapi, yg takutnya kalau virus tu merebak dekat shugiga.tak sampai 1 day, the evil virus attacked me n i became 'coughable' n 'fluable'.huhu. nothing can be done, if barney can be restrained from sleeping in the same room with me n shugiga (untuk elak jangkitan), i on the other hand couldnt be separated from my girl. n true enough, the next day she started coughing.

on monday morning (1st dec) i brought her to see her paed again.and finally this time we got to meet her dr nik rose.by this time her phlegm dah banyak n it could be heard thru her breathing. her temperature mmg dah naik sgt waktu tu.for the first time, bak poney nangis while carrying nia who was asleep soundly n i heard her said "nia jangan sakit mcm ni sayang, mak poney mau balik"....n i couldnt help myself from crying...sedih sgt, mak poney dah jaga nia since she was born n i trusted her with full confidence when nia was with her..but she went back on the 6th dec coz her family missed her...kesian nia, mesti dia pelik kenapa tiba2 mak poney dia hilang :(

her paed decided that she needed the neubalizer/the oxygen to cairkan her phlegm n after that process she needed to see the fisio punya org to help her keluarkan kahak dia. oh my, nia cried as if she was beaten! bila die kena bedung/swaddle waktu nak keluarkan kahak, i tak sanggup tgk. barney helped to hold her n i stand facing the wall.she was crying helplessly mintak simpati n i know, mesti sakit gile kalau hidung n tekak kena cucuk dgn tiub dalam-dalam.i cried when she cried.owhhh ive never experienced this before...after the awful experience, we went to see her paed again n this time when she examined nia's lungs, she found out that it has been infected. jangkitan kuman di paru-paru/pneumonia.i felt as if someone just slapped me, ive read about lung infection few times somewhere n i know it's dangerous especially for a little angel like nia.i cried again.

the doctor also found out that her ear has been infected too.n she decided that nia needs to be warded. maybe 2-3 days or more, it all depends on her antibody. so dengan berat hatinya we registered her room n we went back to pack our things. lagi la sedih coz barney was supposed to go to perlis on the same day for one week.i was left alone with nia, and bak poney. we stayed in the hospital for 4 restless days. makan ubat every 6 hours, neubalizer every 3 hours, nia kena cucuk lagi, nia kena fisio lagi, nia kena masuk tiub untuk keluarkan phlegm lagi.mmg penat, penat n tak sampai hati nak tgk dia menangis meraung-raung every time the procedures had to be done.otherwise she was one active n happy girl.i rasa dia pun tak sedar dia kat hospital :)

during our 4 days stay in the hospital, i learnt something new.i learnt a lot about SACRIFICES. since i have nia, ive sacrificed a lot of my time for her. i couldnt go straight to bed after balik kerja like i used to do (even tho mata mmg gam, kepala mmg berat) but magically once i reached home, all the headaches fly away just like that everytime i see her. i also have to carefully plan my weekends coz weekends are the only days i have for her. sometimes i have to squeeze my time here n there to meet my girl frens coz i couldnt bring nia along. n time is precious, i have to be back as fast as i can coz i wanna spend time wif her.some people might not understand, wait till you become a mother. but those sacrifices are not enough.

when i stayed with her in the hospital, i knew, she has no one else but her mother for her to rely on. she's helpless and scared and i have to be there for her. i cried so many times on the first day but no more on the following days.i have to be strong n i have to show to her that life is more than just being sick. there are a lot more things to be afraid off out there. being the mata gam i used to be, this time i didnt sleep at night.i would rather look at her sleeping, monitoring her breathing n make sure she's okay. there's nothing more worrying than seeing ur child in a sick condition.now i know how uneasy the feeling could be. all i could think was to fight the virus in her body n make sure she took her medication completely.silently, i also have self conflict, i was scared at the same time coz i had no more leave n i had to be absent from work for a week.so many things to think about... i played with her when the procedures are over n i hugged her everytime after the awful procedures so that she feels safe. on the 3rd day she started consuming less milk n food.n i felt like crying again. but i have to be patient and make sure she drinks her milk. SABAR became my new best friend. dah la husband takda, so i had to gather all my strength.

alhamdulillah, she was discharged on the 4th dec n could celebrate raya haji at home.as at today, she has fully recovered.yesterday (11th dec) i brought her to the clinic again n her lungs dah clear. so i asked her paed to give the the pneumococal vaksin. it is quite costly but im traumatized n it's better for me to prevent than cure. hhmm..nia is turning 8 months by the end of this month and to me, this is just the beginning. the journey is still long and i believe, i'll learn thru the hard way in becoming a good mother. motherhood is the best especially when it comes to baby nia!!

my baby girl is turning 6 months in 4 days time:) in 6 more months she'll be 1. at her last check up she was 8.3 kgs and 67cm tall! and up to yesterday, she can already walk in her walker and sit on her own without support for a few seconds:) owwhh..despite the fact that i cant wait to hear her talk n walk, i actually miss her being a newborn baby :( i still remember 6 months ago, she was so tiny and fragile. she couldnt even react to what we said or did to her. no smiles, no kicks, no punch, no tarian comel, no giggles. all she did was sleep, eat n poop. the most she could do was smile once in a while, while she was sleeping.

back then during my confinement period, i had difficulties breastfeeding her. during those 2 months, i had bengkak susu for only god knows how many times! she would gripped my nippy wif her tiny mouth n i would curled my toe tahan sakit.i never gave up, being a mother, you wouldnt wanna let your own flesh n blood missed her meal. when i had bengkak susu, i cried and cried n did all sorts of things to cure the pain. i even went to the clinic few times to get painkiller and antibiotics. at that time, all i could think was I WANT TO STOP BREASTFEEDING AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

little did i know, how much breastfeeding can give miracles and wonders to the mother and child. i did a lot of reading after that and i was ashamed for being so selfish. she deserved to get all the nutritions despite the pain i had to endure. and then i became aware of the benefits of breastfeeding.i even had a lil issue wif my parents when they tried to introduce her to solid foods at the age of 3 months!!haha i was so emotional at that time and even consulted the doctor to confirm that all my young girl needed at that time was her mom's milk.nothing else.i vowed to myself that i would breastfeed her AT LEAST up to 6 months.

when i started working in july, i brought my breastpump set to the office everyday without fail. during lunch hour, i knew my stock has reached the limit, the pain became stronger and everything became engorged.haha.i would pump n pump religously. i would put my lil stock in the fridge and took it out at 5 pm to feed my baby.it became a routine and obligation to me.i felt satisfied being able to furnish that responsibility n i was proud (silently in my heart).

in september,i was being undisciplined.i missed my usual routines due to some factors.u know the basic rule for breastfeeding is, the more the demand, the more the supply. due to less pumping in the office, my stocks became less.from breastfeeding her after working hours, it turned to breastfeeding her during sleep time only. and somewhere around 2 weeks ago, i started to train her not to breastfeed to go to sleep.coz b4 this she would only sleep if she got her nippy. and the moment finally comes....

finally she can now survive without my milk. and my stocks became almost nil. i have to admit i am very very sad about this.but this is what i chose.i chose not to have bleeding nipples, sore nipples, crack nipples etc....suddenly, despite of feeling relieved, i missed our special bonding moment we used to have every single day before this. i tried to feed her the other day and she 'accepted the offer'.owh i miss looking at her facial expression while breastfeeding!!only mothers know this unique feeling as it is undescribable. but again, i had to endure the pain of sore nipples.ouch.

i am still contemplating at this moment, whether to stop or not. but i guess the time has come.i have to train her and at least ive achieved my goal to at least breastfeed her for 6 months. (tho i wish i could bf her up to 2 years old!) things become easier, no more bf in public or shopping malls.dia dah tak manja sgt or bergantung harap pada benda yang satu ni je.hehe.and at least she has started consuming solid foods so i am rest assured that she gets all the energy she needs. tho i know nothing can compare to breast milk.

nia karlyssa, mummy will always cherish the intimate bonding moments we used to share before this.mummy have bever experienced such a wonderful magical feeling before.please remember them too ya?

esok hari raya!!

today im sitting in front of my pc,in my room at the office.if you read my post one day b4 raya a year ago, it is exactly the same as my situation right now. sedih tak dapat join the girls buat ketupat-our usual routine a day b4 raya. this is the 2nd year i tak dapat join :(

on a happier note, im officially 50.5 kg now!!i know it might sound nothing to you but it's a big achievement for me!go ask other mummys out there, then you'll know how we sufferred just to get back to our pre-pregnancy weight!huhu. after 2 months consuming herbalife,i managed to lose 4.5 kgs :) my pre-pregnancy weight was 50 kg.and it might sound an easy peezy 5 kgs to you but i have to tell you it aint easy to lose them!tambah lagi i suka makannnnnn :) walaupun i ada ponteng2 gak minum herbalife, alhamdulillah it still works.n now i'm aiming for 49 kg!haha.

went to pick up our baju raya last night.well, 2 je yg okay, the rest besarrrr.so kena alter n im gonna pick them up kejap lagi. baju kurung shugiga, omg, comelllll! tak sabar nak ambik family photo esok:)

last weekend i went buffet hunting!makan tak ingat dunia! on saturday me n hubby went out for our lil date n had buffet at the shogun, one utama.i went crazy over all the foods.definitely worth the price, can go again after raya! we also bought shugiga's first walker! it's from chicco and im really satisfied with the quality (sgt comfy) n the design (sgt funky!) so we named the walker "pon-pon" coz dia ada hon mcm kereta!haha. n she luvs it to the max!tapi dia bukan main stering wheel tu, instead dia try makan benda tu!!!

on sunday i belanja the whole family buffet ramadhan dekat restoran padang sari ratu. went there 'walking' from pavillion.the food tak usah cakap, since im a nasi padang fan, of course la sedap!! n ya, it was nia's 5 months bday too on that day :)

alright, i would like to wish selamat hari raya aidilfitri to all the readers.maaf zahir dan batin.bersyukurlah kita masih boleh beraya dengan insan tercinta bersama2 persiapan raya yang sempurna dan lengkap.jangan lupa kepada yang tidak berkemampuan di luar sana.
